PLUS DRIVER

Dial in your tee game with the PING G410 Plus Driver. Position the 16g tungsten weight in one of three unique positions – Draw, Neutral, Fade – to shift the Center of Gravity location for up to 10 yards of flight path correction. Internal Dragonfly Technology saves weight from the Ti 811 ultra-thin crown and redistributes it strategically within the head to further optimize CG location, distance and forgiveness. A high-strength, forged T9S+ face powers a thinner, hotter impact area to create maximum flexing for higher ball speeds and distance across the entire face.Significant advancements in custom fitting while increasing both forgiveness and ball speed highlight the G410 Plus and SFT drivers. Movable-weight technology offers a simple way to customize your driver for a desired ball flight so you can swing fearlessly and hit a lot more fairways. Trajectory Tuning 2.0 expands your loft and lie options utilizing a new patented eight-setting, lightweight hosel.

DRIVERS - Selecting Your Model!

  • PING G410 PLUS Driver: Movable 16g Tungsten weight allow golfers to shift CG location for Draw, Neutral and Fade biased flight

  • PING G410 SFT Driver: Stationary 16g Tungsten weight located near the heel shifts CG location to promote draw-biased flight

  • PING G410 LST Driver: Movable 16g Tungsten weight allow golfers to shift CG location for Draw, Neutral and Fade biased flight

Ping G410 Plus Driver Information

Adjustable, Custom Center of Gravity Locations:

  • What Does It Do? Three weight positions shift the Center of Gravity location to influence shot direction. Each setting (Draw, Neutral, Fade) represents 10 yards of correction (20 yards between Draw and Fade)

  • How Does It Do That? By positioning the movable, 16g tungsten weight (8% of the head weight) to one of the three locations on the extreme boundary of the skirt, the CG location shifts 1/10” to have the desired affect (fade, draw and neutral) on ball flight without sacrificing MOI (1% higher in the neutral position than G400 std. model). Like all PING drivers, the low/back CG delivers more distance and forgiveness.

Internal Dragonfly Technology:

  • What Does It Do? Contributes to higher MOI for more distance and forgiveness

  • How Does It Do That? Weight savings from the TI 811 ultra-thin crown (.017”, thickness of 3 dollar bills) are redistributed within the head to optimize CG location

Ping G410 Plus Drivers Key Features:

  • Faster, streamlined design reduces drag over previous models to increase distance and club head speed
  • Forged, high-strength T9S+ face powers a thinner, hotter impact area for high ball speeds and distance
  • More efficient crown Turbulators reduce aerodynamic drag and create more efficient airflow around head
  • 8-Lobe Trajectory Tuning Hosel allows golfers to fine tune loft (+/- 1.5°) and lie angle specifications
  • Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 Grip features the look/feel of Tour Velvet with a non-slip surface pattern
  • High quality, color-coordinating headcover for club protection between uses

Ping G410 Plus Driver Technology:

Movable Weight

Movable-weight technology enables you to position the center of gravity for controlling your ball flight, putting tour-level fitting in your hands.

Custom CG Locations

Three positions (Draw, Neutral, Fade) for the ultra-high-density tungsten back weight shift the center of gravity (CG) location in each direction from neutral to influence left or right shot direction. Weight positioned on the extreme boundary increases MOI to elevate ball speed and forgiveness for hitting your tee shots longer and straighter.

8-Lobe Trajectory Tuning

Trajectory Tuning 2.0 in the G410 drivers utilizes a new lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleeve that provides eight positions for influencing ball flight through loft (±1.5°) and lie adjustments, including up to 3° flatter than standard.

Fast Forged Face

To accelerate ball speed for more distance, the T9S+ precision-machined forged face undergoes a patented heat-treatment process, creating a thinner, hotter impact area for maximum flexing. The forging and the head’s internal geometry are key to the powerful sound and feel.

Internal Dragonfly Technology

A new “creased crown” design in the 455cc head has stiffening properties and combines with patented Dragonfly Technology inside to create an ultra-thin crown structure, saving weight to optimize the CG and increase forgiveness.

Streamlined Shape

To reduce drag in the downswing for increasing clubhead speed, ball velocity and distance, the crown is aerodynamically shaped and is equipped with more-aggressive and efficient Turbulator Technology.

Alta CB Red 55

The next generation of PING's proprietary counter-balanced shaft is lightweight and high-launching while offering more stability and a consistent feel. An eight-gram counterweight in the grip end helps shift the CG higher, allowing for an increase in energy transfer and momentum, resulting in more ball speed and greater forgiveness.

Shaft-Fitting Options

The high-performance PING Tour 65 & 75 (lower launch, low spin, stable feel), Project X EvenFlow Black 75 (low launch, low spin) and Mitsubishi Tensei CK Orange 60 (mid launch, low spin) are available at no upcharge and ensure a shaft-fitting option to match the launch conditions of all golfers.

Ping G410 Driver Shaft Options

To get the most distance from your driver, you must optimize the launch angle and spin rate of the ball by selecting the proper loft and shaft flex for your swing speed. Generally, golfers with slower swing speeds require more-lofted drivers and more-flexible shafts to achieve the proper launch conditions. Conversely, golfers with faster swing speeds generally require lower-lofted drivers and firmer shafts. PING recommend that you get fit for the shaft that allows you to play your best golf. Whether that’s a softer, lighter shaft with a higher launch or a heavier, stiffer shaft with a lower trajectory, a PING Certified Club Fitter can help you find the shaft that brings consistency to your game.

Ping G410 Standard Grip Options

PING offers a variety of grip sizes and styles to fit different hand sizes and texture preferences. Since grip size influences your wrist action, and therefore the direction of your shots, it is commonly used by fitters to affect ball flight. PING color-coded grips are available in six different diameters, and can be further customized with grip tape according to your needs. Once the neutral grip color code has been determined based on hand measurements, golfers may consider smaller diameter grips to help control fades and slices, or larger diameter grips to help control draws and hooks.

The Golf Pride Tour Velvet features a state-of-the-art rubber-blend compound with a non-slip surface pattern for maximum playability and confidence. The scientifically designed plus-sign texture pulls moisture away from surface to allow for consistent traction.

The Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cord features a state-of-the-art rubber-blend compound with a non-slip surface pattern and embedded cotton twill fibers for maximum playability and confidence in all weather conditions. The scientifically designed plus-sign texture pulls moisture away from surface to allow for consistent traction.

PING offers a variety of shaft flexes

in steel and graphite to meet your needs and preferences. Selecting the proper shaft flex for your swing will help you get the most distance and accuracy from every shot. Generally, players with faster swing speeds require stiffer shafts to keep the ball trajectory lower, while players with slower swing speeds will require more-flexible shafts to produce a higher ball trajectory.

Steel or Graphite Shafts

The choice of steel or graphite shafts is usually based on preferences for weight and/or feel. Players seeking a lighter overall weight and/or a softer feel in their irons may prefer graphite shafts, while players who prefer a standard-weight club with a firmer feel may prefer steel shafts.
